Our preservation process begins after your gown has been thoroughly cleaned and finished. We layer it with acid-free tissue and muslin, and gently place it into a museum quality, acid-free wedding dress box. This packaging protects the fabric color, and helps prevent damage from light and dust. It also avoids moisture damage by allowing some air movement. Once home, store your wedding dress box flat, and in an area that is clean, cool, dry, dark, and free from big changes in temperature and humidity. Basements and attics should be ruled out due to these reasons.
